Sachin Sangvikar is Boulder Technology's Database Architect. In this capacity Sachin is responsible for design of all persistence layer constructs, data models, and other back-database constructs. Sachin also oversees the company's offshore development operations.
Sachin brings over seventeen years of experience in architecture, design and development of complex, large-scale distributed enterprise computing systems based on Internet, object-oriented and client-server technology. He possesses expertise in wide range of technologies including ColdFusion, Java/J2EE, VC++, VB, XML/XSLT, DHTML and Centura. He also brings expertise in relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase and MySQL.
Before helping found Boulder Technology, Sachin headed a software consultancy which provided offshore development and recruiting services to U.S. businesses. In this capacity Sachin supervised development of numerous OLTP relational databases, complex n-tiered cross-platform web applications, object-oriented component libraries, and GUI client-server applications.
Prior to his offshore development work Sachin was Systems Engineer and, later, Senior Database Architect for Phoenix International from 1994 to 1999 where he developed complex high-availability database components for that company's client-serving banking application. Sachin also has several years experience in various hands-on development roles at a number of leading Indian software companies and consultancies.
